more about Amsterdam City

We are so glad you found us! We started the Amsterdam City location in October 2021 with a great team. This means we are in the early days! We are a location that is social and gather in an intimate setting. We have Groups that gather throughout the week in various homes or cafés giving you a close community you can belong to and a place to help you grow. Every Sunday we have services in Boom Chicago and after the Sunday service, there is usually a group going out for lunch together. We would love to meet you!

LOEY & INTAN WITTINK

Location pastors Amsterdam City

Loey and Intan (with their daughter Evelyn) are the location pastors for our Amsterdam City location – and they are both locals! Born and raised in Amsterdam and Amstelveen, they love the city and know where to get the best coffee, where to get the best ice cream, and all the other hot spots. They love doing life around the table, having people over for dinner, or going out for a drink.

GROUPS

Groups are the heartbeat of our church. Groups are small groups that meet in different locations around the area. These groups exist to help you find connection, friendships, and growth. Check out the different types of groups we offer here at our Amsterdam City location and find the one that works best for you!

LANGUAGE

Amsterdam is international, multicultural, and multilingual. The Amsterdam City location reflects that: the Services and Groups are English only.

General info & directions for our services

CHURCH SERVICE

Every Sunday, the service starts at 10:30am in Boom Chicago, a comedy theatre in the centre of the city. The service will take about 90 minutes. Feel free to bring a friend or a family member!

KIDS

Our services are on the second floor. Parents regularly leave their strollers on the ground floor. The kids leave the service after worship and gather on the balcony.

MOBILITY

Unfortunately the location is not wheelchair friendly.

CAFE

We are renting a room in the theater, but often there is a buzz in the building after the service as we are not the only ones who use the building on Sundays. There is plenty of opportunity to hang after the service and enjoy good conversations and coffee.

PARKING

There is free parking in the city until noon on Sunday.

You can easily travel to the service using public transport. The following transit lines have routes that pass near Boom Chicago.
